Have to extend the fuel/water sensor harness.

The thread machining is off and when the new housing is tight the factory harness will not reach and must be spliced and extended. Not a "huge deal" but did create some hassle and stole some of my time. Pick up some 14 ga. wire, flex tubing and heat shrink connections before you start. Good product otherwise.

The o ring sent with it would not seal. Had to install factory o ring then everything was fine.

Nice product but it has a minor issue.

This is a very nice upgrade over the POS plastic fuel filter cap but the threading does allow for a factory line up with original. I had to reroute my cable so it would plug in to the dongle and carefully position the rock guard so it would pinch the wiring harness. Threading the filter cap so it lines up with the factory cap would eliminate this issue.

    No more plastic !

Im so happy i found this aluminum house. I bought 2 leaking, cheaply made, over priced plastic housings in the past. I wish i found this product sooner.
