I spoke to Sterling concerning both kits. He was very helpful. I ordered the upper relocation kit and the lower filter upgrade. Sterling informed me the machine shop was a little behind. The upper relocation kit wouldn't be available for a couple of weeks but they could go ahead and send out the lower kit if I'd like to get a head start on the install. The upper kit would soon follow...No problem, I was in no rush.
I received the lower kit. Everything was accounted for. Installation was a breeze. The hardest part was aligning the tube up in the fuel port in the factory housing. I took my time assembling as well as priming the system and she fired right up, no leaks. It took me probably 45 minutes to install, maybe an hour.
A few weeks later I received my upper relocation kit. Taking out the upper filter and replacing it with the billet bypass went smoothly. The only problem I ran into was mounting the bracket on the side of the transmission. I discovered I had to start my fuel line assembly on the "IN" side of the housing, leaving it loose, before I mounted the bracket and housing to the transmission, which BTW went underneath the shift cable bracket. It was easy peasy after that. I took my time routing the lines then tightened everything down. Due to the bracket it probably took me an hour+. Double checked my work, primed the system and I was good to go. I am LOVING the fact that I just have to spin filters on and off now.
